POGO or California Fire what really is top news... My vote is for the Tiolet...

The war is old yet we have POGO on the front page of CNN.  CNN shows on television the California fires but makes me wonder if the government has initiated a subtle form of censorship.

Kennedy and Health Care...

Since Kennedy passed away there has been speculation of health care. I told my neice when she was here in America that he was doomed to die within three years of the prognosis of the brain tumor and that the news following would border on the health care issue. I hate being right, but then again it is the way our government works. Only one person has a good idea and no one backs them up... Funeral details of this event
It is the problem where we made a bigger deal of the death of Micheal Jackson than the death of Kennedy...

What is a POG?...

I have been a little busy, working to get things set on my end and finally got a preview of the site, but then nothing is definite until the final inspection that I have to do with the site.  Being in a good mood seeing things starting to progress; went searching around the net for something interesting and found the Pog and of course I'm left speechless.  You have to check the link to see what I mean.  You'll even end up a new term like c.p.g "Creative Pet Grooming" or reading the rest the page or viewing the galleries, yes pets do have bad hair day with or without their owners consent...

Cat Earns a GED...

Now I was interested in sending Ricky a few years ago to Columbia for his math degree, Columbia University will deny this and rightly so, because the school existed in Columbia, South America. I thought this was a wacky enough idea, but then again I decided against it when I saw an Animal Planet Television special where the dog trainer had the dog do math. This sounds astounding, but nothing like the story today "Cat Earns a GED..." take a look and see if your just as amazed as I am...

Why dogs are seldom called Frank...

There are certain words that you don't use when talking to your child, and also to your pets... i.e. when I talk to Ricky I don't use the word "hot dog" because he will go to the window and look to see if there really is a "HOT DOG" outside the window walking down the street and he will leave me holding the steaming frank in my hands... Whoops, ouch, Ouch, it hot, hot, HOT... and then after my fingers are close to medium rare Ricky will return and ask for the mustard or the tomato sauce, hold the bun. You thought I was going to say Ketchup, but imagine the confusion with the mental capacities of a two year old, he would probably exclaim "Is it made with real Cats...", like Wednesday of Adams Family Values saying "Is it made with real girl scouts..." referring to the cookies. Yes, Ricky is spoiled, but then again aren't our loved ones always spoiled as well... Ricky is a Christmas dog and today I found Christmas mustard check the link above, I think you be you'll be amused...

Left the president an email at whitehouse.gov...

Left and posted a message to the president of the US with my name and telephone number. He also has my email as well my directions and the url to my BLOG. Is he man enough to call me an average U.S. citizen or will the secret service descend on my home in the next 24hours like those spy movies. I'm guessing that neither since the forum is filled with lots of complaints about a system that does not work...

Electronic Medical Records or is the reality harder than we think...

I have worked on the Electronic Medical Records question twice in my lifetime for two hospitals and so these are my findings. At one hospital it was built from the ground up and was sucessfully implemented, using loopholes that existed because the regulations permitted its legality. In the second hospital the same question, without the right resources or the fesability of change, end result being that it could be possible, but the wrong technology and the wrong branch of legality made it impossible. In conclusion due to the regulations, and the legality behind the transmission of pertinant data, at this very moment we are at at stand-still, and so the Electronic Medical Record is possible, but hospitals have invested in the wrong technologies, making the whole too costly and impractical, since hospitals want to reduce costs and not invest into a future without some "Return On Investment"...
